the beginning

Well I have been reading a huge amount of blogs for a while so I guess its my turn. I have been thinking of how to start it all. Then in a flash of brains waves came about on a quote that I like from Faris Yakob's blog 'Talent imitates, genius steals' (even though I think the quote is 'borrows' not imitates, but i maybe wrong..). Which I tend to do on a daily basis. It also led me to my favourite quote from Darwin which u will see above.

Sowhat... Well looking at my current scenario of moving from Australia to the UK Im learning that having a deep history and culture that the older countries put us 'New World' countries down for lack off actually limits your ability to be adaptable to change. Because your still living in the past. Just like every english person lives their last sporting win, as opposed to looking for the next one like us new worlders.

But working in the advertising game. The industry is in a massive phase of change. In a state of pure naivety... I moved here thinking its a great time to get involved. One thing i didnt realise. the systems and history in entrenched and people dont want to change.

Hey Mike,

You might like Diablogue's quote too:

"If you don't like change, you're going to like irrelevance even less."
