After all the talk about cloud computing. HP, Intel and Yahoo are doing something about it. I am thinking this is a team game to get ahead of Google and potentially Microsoft. But I do love the fact that a lot of it is linked to schooling (and government institutions but hey.. the guys have to make some money). We already talk about digital natives and how they have grown up with the current social tools but what about learning how to live your life in the clouds will be really interesting.
This could make the content for bitcasting, as Faris has brought up before from the book Being Digital by Nicholas Negroponte, really interesting. The understanding of what to feed you when from data and information that you have linked to your cloud will change the advertising world.
Looking to buy an iPhone, I looked into whether I could sync it to my work calender and saw that this is already happening. Check this video out.
So if they make this all free and adfunded, which seems to be the case these days. It would be quite interesting serving geotagged ads at exact times linked to your calender. Could be cool. Im going to be keeping an eye on this.
