Sometimes, it's good to steer away from the usual blog posts and do something people won't really expect. May it be an illustration, a photo or maybe even lyrics to a song. In a way, it helps keep your own interest in blogging going and helps you share something you like with the readers/lurkers. By the way, I like the one by Imogen Slater. Simple yet modern.
